where i'm from.

i was adopted from romania when i was just two weeks old. i was in a hospital with my birth mom when my big-hearted [adoptive] mother came to romania, saw me, & then proceeded to take me away before anyone else could. i was then brought to america. luckily, i was able to go back 18.5 years later to visit the beautiful country. i am so lucky i had this opportunity to go back with the natalia foundation [which is run by my cousins] & give back to the people there. ''because i have been given much i to must give'' is what some may say. and that we [my 14 other romanian cousins & i did]. taking 40 boxes full of items such as hygiene kits, shoes, clothes, school supplies, toys, stuffed animals-- as well as painting a newborn hospital, & two orphanages, we made just a dent in the work that needs to be done. but you have to start somewhere. it was a heart wrenching adventure of a lifetime & i hope to return there again soon.
