It was so fun to see Elder Colton Burner Sunday! As he was giving his farewell talk, Elder Adam Harris was giving his homecoming talk. There were a few of us who ran over to Elder Burners luncheon after Adam's talk, and then ran back to Adam's luncheon an hour later! It was a day to celebrate missionary service and the gratitude we have for these young men. Elder Burner is off to Kobe, Japan for the next 2-years. He leaves for the Provo, MTC today, April 20, 2011 and will be in the mission field in Kobe on July 4th!
Colton you are an amazing friend, young man and son of God. I know He is so proud, as are all of us here at home. You are going to be a beacon of light for the people in Japan, and I know you will change many lives--and they will change yours as well. We're all rooting for you back here at home, now go out and change the world! See ya in two.
