Lake Tahoe's Shakespeare Festival

Suzanne & Krissy invited me to go to Shakespeare with them this year! We went a few summers ago, but we were rained out and the speakers weren't working very well... so I was excited when they asked me to go again. Last time we saw Much Ado About Nothing. This as time it was Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Suzanne decided to google a little back-ground for us before we left and as she began to read and Krissy and I heard the words Sebastian and Illyria, we both looked at each other in excitement and exclaimed, "She's the Man!!!" We were waaaaay excited! For those of you that don't know, in the movie, She's the Man, the script is written to Shakespeare's Twelfth Night play, but in a modern, teenage world. It is a really funny movie and is great way to learn about and understand the play!
The play was phenomenal!! It was sooooo funny and the acting was fabulous!!! The screwiness of the relationships and the mix-up of the twins was so hilarious! We had great seats, a great backdrop, great weather and great company!! We all had so much fun!! Couldn't have had a better time. Best play I've ever seen, by far!! Great way to end my last night in Tahoe... :)
