Through all the smiles and tears, we were able to fit in some beach time! We just went right down the street from Grandma's to Tahoe Vista Beach. The lake was cold, but not nearly as cold as Lake Granby out in Colorado! The weather was great and the company was even better!! Barb and I whispered secrets and laughed out loud; while Krissy and I swapped music & book favorites, as well as college horror & party stories! ;) It was great to relax & laugh after an emotionally, stress filled week.
